What good would a mass storage facility on the East Coast do you if you were living in the South West? You would have to go all the way back in order to pick something up, or have a friend ship it to you. If in the even that you left something very important in the storage facility, you could have a serious problem! For many reasons, this sort of storage is limiting for many lifestyles.
If conventional storage is not the answer, you are probably wondering what is.

Maybe one or two cubicles would cost one thousand dollars a piece if purchase individually, but when purchased in larger lots, they may cost significantly less. If you knew, for example, that you would be opening a new branch in another city in a few months time, you could purchase many cubes and store the unneeded ones in a self storage unit for a few months, and still have saved a good amount of money in the long run by purchasing the furniture in bulk.

Your impulse will be to sweep the pile haphazardly into any half full moving boxes you still have lying around. Resist it! The things you used at the end of your stay in the old house will be the first things you need when you are moving into the new house. Rather than making yourself root through a dozen moving boxes half full of things you don’t yet need, put all the moving essentials into their own boxes. Label them “Open First” or “Moving Kit. ” When you unload the car or van, put the moving kit boxes off to the side where you can reach them easily, and watch to make sure they are not hidden under a deluge of other boxes.
